Sharesight makes share portfolio management easy, and part of that is a very simple, intuitive interface. 

We worked with Sharesight to update the registration and first time user workflows. The key aims were to integrate new functionality and make it easier for users to get setup and access help information in context.

My Tours

My Tours enables people to turn city walks, museum tours and audio guides into mobile applications. My Tours now supports iPhone, Windows 7 and Android is on the way.

Natalie was on of the founders of MyTours and this was our first mobile app design. With some big customers spread across the globe, downloads of apps created on MyTours are steadily increasing. We're also the proud winners of the 2011 Mix and Mash 'Anything Goes' category, using MyTours to create a Great Walks of New Zealand app (currently in submission in the Apple app store).

CRMDesk

CRMDesk is a complete, online customer support system. However the huge array of features was causing confusion and made the tool harder to use than it could have been.

We worked with the CRMDesk team to focus in on key actions and simplify the layout to create a simple, clear user interface that enables users to quickly get the key information they need.

Macaulay Metals

Macaulay Metals is New zealan'ds largest privately owned scrap metal company. As such they have a lot of bins, spead across many suppliers, and their systems for manaing them had a few holes.

We worked with the awesome team at Able Tech to design an Android application to be used internally, that enables truck drivers to record the placement and movements of bins - a simple solution that solves a costly problem.

Money Scope

Moneyscope is a simple tool for financial planners that enables them to quickly enter income and outgoings for their clients, and calculate their savings over time. With some cool, simple indicators and the ability to adjust for inflation and interest, Moneyscope produces a simple, readable report that gives peopel the information they need... Without the confusion they are used to.

We worked on Moneyscope from the initial idea on. We drew up the initial functionality and worked through until we had created a very simple, usable website that makes financial forecasting useful.

Spring to the Streets

Following on from the success of the 'Streets Alive' campaign, the Wellington regional Council wanted to cash in on rugby fever by encouraging locals to get out of their cars and bring the streets to life. We created a fun and fresh interface that encourages signups to the challenge and keeps people up to date with their progress in the competition.

Shayyik

Shayyik allows people to watch their favorite TV shows, and win points and rewards for sharing information and getting involved.

Our first Arabic site produced it's own set of challenges, including the mirroring of reading direction... Especially whent he site also translates to english! We worked with the company (based in Dubai) to create a fun interface that supports multi language and provides a fun place for people to get involved and get watching!

Educa

Educa is an online portal that enables early childhood educators to record, organise & share updates about each child's education & development. After the successful design of the Educa marketing website, we implemented the new design across the Educa App. The focus of the re-design was creating a unified look and feel across all elements of Educa, however we also made some minor usability improvements.

Streets Alive

Streets Alive is a walking challenge where workplace teams compete in a six week ‘walk off.’ The initiative is part of Greater Wellington’s work to encourage sustainable transport and the challenge hub, It is the place where teams sign-up, record their walks and track their progress against the other teams.

 

We worked with some of our favorite developers Able Tech to design a simple user interface for this fun competition. The key elements of the design were making regular updates a s quick as possible, and introducing an element of competition for individuals to motivate them to walk further.

We worked closely with the Thathorse team to make their existing site simpler and more targeted on what their audiences want to achieve. Givealittle

Givealittle gives you control over where you donations go. Givealittle significantly cuts the costs of fundraising to a standard 5% and lists causes from the big, well known charities through to a sick child who has one final dream you can help realise. It stops donations from being a chore and makes them something you choose.

We have been working with Givealittle to smooth out the interface and simplify the donation workflow and create a customisable interface for charities and organisations who want their own donation platform.

All About the Story

We were approached by Julie Starr when she had a great idea for streamlining the process of buying and selling articles written by top quality freelancers. All About the Story is the evolving result from a team of web experts and a journalist who want to increase the quality of the news and access to good stories, cartoons and images.

Decisive Flow designed the front and backend user interfaces, and we are involved ongoing, with a shareholding in the company and the responsibility of constantly improving the workflows in the site and smoothly adding to the functionality available.

Hire Things

Hire Things is a well establish hiring website... With everything on offer from trailers to costumes and more.

After several, successful years, it's time to slowly overhaul the site, learning from user experiences and internal findings to simplify and improve the user interface and make hiring stuff as easy as possible. We are working with Hirethings on an ongoing basis to help improve the number of hires going through the site by making the site more intuitive, focused and targeted.

My Tours

The My Tours admin interface enables people to create their own tours, add audio and pictures to the tours, manage their account, and even create their own iPhone tours app... And submit all of it for approval by the Apple Store.

 My Tours is another application the Decisive Flow owns a shareholding in. We have built the entire user interface from the front end marketing site through to the back end admin and are responsible for constantly improving the usability and the smooth addition of new functionality.

Noctane

Contegix is a world class hosting company in the US. They needed a world class administration tool that worked for themselves and their clients to manage every aspect of their hosting service.

We worked closely with Contegix to design a user interface for an admin panel that allows support staff and customers to add to and manage their unique hosting environments, ask for and receive support and manage their billing history and payments. We significantly simplified the initial concepts we were presented with and converted an overly complex and time consuming tool into one thats simplicity belies the number of tasks it has to achieve.

Cashtrack helps New Zealander's track the life of their money. It's a fun site that appeals to those who like to see how they connect with others through their money. 

We designed and developed a simple user interface that walks people through from adding in notes to allowing people to view those added by other's and the notes that make their way around New Zealand the most.

Cross Commerce Media Ad Portal

Cross Commerce is an exciting company that is changing the way people interact with media and advertising. With a couple of websites that bring together different groups and companies, Cross Commerce needed a back end admin tool to allow companies to manage their accounts.

We worked closely with Cross Commerce across several of their products and created a simple management interface for complex client tasks. While the details of the tool are still under wraps, the work we did simplified and streamlined user interfaces.

Sportsdraw

Sportsdraw is the brainchild of John Cole - a keen sports enthusiast who wanted to make it easier and faster for team and league admins to do their (often unpaid) jobs.

We worked with John from the concept through to the final product, creating a site that has quickly picked up traction and allows quick information input and for players, coaches and management to keep up to date in real time.
