Wellington Region GPI

The Wellington Region Genuine Progress Index (GPI) is a new approach to measuring progress in the Wellington region... A very interesting and useful tool, but in need of a way to communicate the index with the general public. We worked with the Wellington Regional Council to create an easy-to-navigate, comprehensive view oer the whole GPI, with the ability to delve into several layers of detail, or just see how we as a region are doing.

Chic Collection

The Chic Collection is a collection of boutique 5-star apartments. Nestled in Ahuriri, Napier the apartments provide the ultimate in chic boutique accommodation. Each apartment has either direct ocean or quaint village views with the Ahuriri restaurants and eclectic shopping at your doorstep. The Chic Collection needed a website that reflected the individual personality of each apartment and the luxury fit-outs within the limitations of a website. We worked closely with them tolet the apartments shine through.

Navigate Motel

Navigate is Hawkes Bay's newest, freshest accommodation. A modern, funky motel that needed a website to reflect the key differences between your stay at Navigate, and your traditional, conservative motel. The website needed to encourage bookings and help start filling rooms for the big launch in August 2011, as well as showcasing the cool interiors and location.

Opportunity International

Opportunity is leading the charge on a new way of solving world poverty. Opportunity focus on giving a hand up rather than a hand out, by providing loans, savings, insurance and training to business owners living in poverty.

We have worked very closely with Opportunity, through crazy timezones and workloads to simplify and define what 'Micro finance' means and explain it to businesses and people who can help spread the word and get involved. With some big backers and a proven track record, we have loved every moment (even those in the early and late hours!) of helping change the way the world looks at solving poverty.

Educa

Educa keeps busy parents up to date and involved in their children's progress at pre-school. Born from a need identified by one such parent, Nathan Li, Educa provides a simple, easy and convenient way for parents and teachers to communicate. Built for New Zealand (but easily adaptable), Educa ties in with Te Whariki Curriculum, offering teachers a really simple way of delivering full Learning Stories.

We worked with Educa to design their marketing website, to simplify their messaging and take busy and tech-hesitant teachers through a simple process to sign up and get started. With a recent launch resulting in a lot of interest and feedback, we're now implementing the new look and feel, and some simple usability updates across the tool itself.

Moneyscope

Richard Allum is a financial whizz (and seems to require no sleep). Richard believes that financial planning should be simple and when you plan for you future with an expert, you should get a report that you can actually understand... Which sparked the idea for Moneyscope - a simple cashflow forecasting tool for financial planners. It does everything you want and nothing you don't. 

We worked with Richard from the initial idea, through to designing and developing the marketing website, wire-framing and designing the application, business cards and the logo... And post launch, this is looking like Moneyscope could become one of the most successful companies we have worked with.

Wesley Community Action

Wesley Community Action is truly a rare organisation. They work on a range of community initiatives that encompass all ages and often those who are overlooked.

We worked with Wesley to design and build a website that showcases the work they do, and help those in need get more information and advice. Wesley also relies on donations, so the website has a split focus on getting help from people int he wider community.

St Mary's College

St Mary's College is Wellington's most established girls school. The school grounds are beautiful and the school itself has a widespread reputation for excellence.

We worked with St Mary's to better reflect their school online, showcasing everything that makes the school stand out for both local and international students. Post launch, the website is now as dynamic as the school itself, and helps keep current and potential students and parents informed for what's happening. With excellent feedback, the new website is a large step towards creating a school environment that takes full advantage of the benefits of the web for marketing and communicating.

New Zealand Bankers' Association

NZBA is a non-profit organisation that helps banks set industry standards and work together co-operatively on non-competitive issues.

The NZBA had a website, but it was outdated and hard to update. We worked with them to create a new, more user friendly design and transfer over key documents and information so it informs the public and banking industry alike.

Choice Mobile

Choice Mobile is helping revolutionise New Zealand's expectations of what to expect from a Mobile Phone Plan. As the first official reseller for 2degrees, Choice mobile is targeting small businesses and providing a much needed alternative to the current options.

We worked (very quickly) with Choice mobile to get their website up and running. As a new player in a competitive industry the key was to show what they do differently and how easily it is to see if they are a good fit for your business.

Deryn Hardie Boys

Deryn is a Wellington based artist and photographer. She wanted a simple website to profile her paintings and photos and allow people to order them online. This is her first step into the world of professional art, so we are starting small, with a non-ecommerce enabled website, which we can build on as she grows her online audience.

Website Telly

Website Telly is an easy to use online studio to create video from your photos and add them to your website.

Decisive Flow worked closely with the Website Telly team to redesign their previous website, ensuring that their message was being communicated effectively and that it is easy to see at a glance how any kind of business can benefit from their awesome tool.

Eyede

Eyede provide end to end transaction solutions: Personal ID cards, credit cards, smart cards and membership and loyalty solutions. We worked with them to upgrade their website to better show off their awesome products and help potential customers understand the benefits of what they do.

My Tours

My Tours is an iPhone App that enables people to turn your city walks, museum tours and audio guides into an iPhone application. Anyone from individuals with local knowledge to organisations who want a white labelled version of My Tours can sign up and quickly, easily make slick, intuitive tours that people can download direct to their iPhone. 

Decisive Flow is a shareholder in the company and have been involved from the beginning, designing the marketing site, backend application and working on the iPhone app design. Keep n eye out for this one, we have some big plans!

Well Located

Well Located is a personalised relocation service. Elaine came to us with a plan and an idea for a relocation company that can customise their service to fit your unique family requirements, right down to making sure your dog arrives happy.

We worked with her to create a brand and website that reflects her totally personalised and unique service, clearly separating her out from the faceless corporate services she competes with.

Paraplan Plus

Richard Allum is an outsourced paraplanner... To most people, that doesn't mean much!

In an industry that's full of technical jargon and confused customers, Decisive Flow worked closely with Paraplan Plus to create a site that simply and easily explains what they do and why these guys are the best in their field.

Melina Martin

Melina Martin is a local designer who creates stunning screen prints. With a home based business and a very small business, Melina Martin took the big step to online business... and received her first order just a few hours after her website went live.

This is one of our most basic shops, what we offer as a first step to get some of our smaller customers up and running and making money online.

Bugtrack

Foresoft are a web product company with a suite of tools that make business life easier. However the web 2.0 era left them with websites that struggled to stand out in the crowd and failed to attract the number of signups they were after.

In the cut throat web-product business, significantly increasing the number of signups through design can be a big task. We spent a lot of time simplifying the marketing site, focusing customers in on the value BugTrack offer and creating quick access points to signing up. The official results are in and the free trial conversion rate has ALMOST TRIPLED.

Dr Fran Walfish

Dr Fran is an amazing woman with a wide range of experience in many different areas of life and career. She has written a self-help book that teaches parents how to raise happy children.

A total web newbie, Dr Fran wanted a website to help her publicise and sell the book as well as her unique insights and knowledge in the area of raising happy, healthy children.

TAANZ

TAANZ is the Travel Agents Associaltion of New Zealand. TAANZ manage a group of travel agents who adhere to a high standard of service to their customers. 

We created a website that eases the admin load on TAANZ, allow travelers to locate an agent quickly and helps promote members of the organisation.

Wave Adept

Wave Adept connect people, tools and information within businesses with a suite of tools and a lot of experience.

With a  customer base that is heavily swayed towards non-techy businesses, we designed a built a website that clearly explains the benefits of moving away from locally held business servers and into the 'cloud'.

Wellington Hospitals and Health Foundation

At Decisive Flow, we like to play our part in making our community better, healthier and a more enjoyable place to live. When we met the team at WHHF, we knew these were people we wanted to help. We have worked closely with the Foundation to completely overhaul their original website and turn it into something that inspires people in Wellington to get involved.

Over time we have built on the basic website to improve the ability to donate and to allow them to fundraise through the sale of merchandise on their site.

Just for Kids

Hospitals are scary places for us all, and for children who are very sick, the added stress of hospital visits can be a nightmare. Decisive Flow worked with the Wellington Hospitals and Health Foundation to provide Wellingston kids with a website that they can browse around before and during their visits to get to grips with where they will be going. The aim was to help kids be more comfortable and informed and feedback suggests that we nailed it!

Vault Consulting

Marie-Claire is a networking and business development guru. She is the person to know around Wellington and has been enthusiastically helping New Zealand startups succeed for years. After a year of operation, it was time for Vault Consulting to have a website that reflects the dynamic, classy and slick organisation behind it.

Decisive Flow worked closely with Marie Claire to get the website created and launched within a month, in time for the much anticipted Vault run 'Sects in the City' party.

Flagmakers

Flagmakers is one of New zealand's oldest and most innovative flag companies... However their website didn't convey their cutting edge technology or make it easy for people fo find out anything abotuthe company, let alone buy flags.

We designed and built an online store that allows people to quickly buy stock flags and get information on the custom flag displays that Flagmakers specialise in. The behind the scenes complexity created by having so many flags and pole options is hidden by a simple front-end user interface that makes buying flags online simple and fun.

Sisu Software

Sisu Software operate in a very specialised niche - migrating to NetWeaver. Is that means nothing to you, don't worry... the site is aimed at only those who search it out. However they do need to know that Sisu are the only people in the world who can cut the time and costs involved in migration through the software they have developed.

We designed and developed a website that simply explains the difference between Sisu and all the other consultants on the market and the process they go through to smoothly migrate your data.
